Justin Bieber leading the race for America's number one album
Early estimates suggest Justin Bieber will easily win the battle of the grown-up teen pop sensations with One Direction on the album chart.
Bieber‘s new album Purpose was released on the same day as the boy band's Made in the A.M. - and he's ahead in the race to be America's number one.
Insiders believe the Canadian pop superstar will land his sixth
number one on Sunday (22Nov15) with expected pure album sales of
450,000 copies and an additional 75,000 related album units via
streaming.
One Direction are expected to come in second with 475,000
equivalent album units sold.
Whoever makes it to the top, their time there is expected to be
short-lived because Adele's comeback album, 25, is released on
Friday (20Nov15) - and it's expected to be the year's biggest and
quickest seller.
