Justin Bieber has 'never met' baby accuser
Justin Bieber has spoken out for the first time to vehemently deny allegations he's fathered a lovechild with a fan, insisting he's "never met the woman".
The Baby hitmaker has been rocked by claims made by 20-year-old Mariah Yeater, who alleges she fell pregnant with her now-three-month-old son Tristyn after she had sex with the singer backstage at a concert in Los Angeles.
Representatives for the star slammed the allegations and insist
they will take legal steps to prove the "malicious, defamatory"
claims are false.
Now Bieber has spoken publicly about the rumours for the first time
during an interview on the Today show on Friday morning
(04Nov11).
The 17 year old tells the NBC hosts, "(I've) never met the woman...
I'd just like to say, basically, that none of those allegations are
true. I know that I'm going to be a target, but I'm never going to
be a victim."
Yeater filed a paternity lawsuit at San Diego Superior Court
claiming Bieber's security guard whisked her away to meet the
singer, reportedly writing in the legal papers, "Shortly
thereafter, Justin Bieber suggested that I go with him to a private
place where we could be alone."
But Bieber is adamant the story is completely fabricated, adding,
"It's crazy. Every night after the show I'm gone right from the
stage right to the car, so it's crazy that some people want to make
up such false allegations. To set the record straight, none of it
is true."
