Justin Bieber boosts Carly Rae Jepsen with new lip sync video
Justin Bieber gave his pal Carly Rae Jepsen another viral video boost by recruiting his famous friends for a lip syncing session filmed while her latest single played in the background.
The Baby hitmaker helped make fellow Canadian singer Jepsen an overnight sensation in 2012 when he, along with then-girlfriend Selena Gomez, Ashley Tisdale and others, filmed a home video joking around and showing off dance moves while singing to her hit Call Me Maybe.
The song became a chart topper and Bieber and his manager Scooter
Braun subsequently signed Jepsen to Braun's Schoolboy Records.
And now Bieber is hoping to recreate the magic with a similar video
accompanying Jepsen's new track I Really Like You.
This time around, Bieber has enlisted the help of Ariana Grande and
his rumoured girlfriend Kendall Jenner. The new video also features
cameos from Grande's actor brother Frankie, Empire star Bryshere
Gray, British band Rixton, Lance Bass, Moschino designer Jeremy
Scott and producer David Foster.
Bieber posted the video to YouTube and added the caption, "decided
to make a fun cover with a bunch of friends of Carly's new song I
Really Like You. love this song.."
