Juicy J hospitalized with exhaustion, scraps San Francisco gig
Rapper Juicy J was forced to scrap a date in San Francisco, California on Saturday (23May15) following a health emergency.
The Oscar-winning Three 6 Mafia co-founder, real name Jordan Michael Houston, was preparing for the gig when he fell ill and was admitted to the city's Saint Francis Memorial Hospital.
He kept fans updated on his progress on social media, writing, "I
wanna apologize to my fans in San Fran I had to rush to the
hospital I'm having shortness of breath I love you all pray for
me..." and, "The Dr said I'm Exhausted I haven't been getting
enough rest but I'll be ok San Fran my Apologies i will make it
up."
The hip-hop star also posted a photograph of himself lying in a
hospital bed, and added, "I wanna say thank you to everyone that
took care me at the hospital."
Juicy J returned to Twitter on Sunday (24May15) just hours before a
planned gig in Boise, Idaho, to assure fans he's out of hospital
and ready to head back to the stage.
He wrote, "I'm feeling a lot better, just need to take it easy. The
show must go on... Thank you to everyone that checked on me I'm
doing great!!!"
The rapper also revealed he'll be debuting a brand new track that
he recorded on his tour bus that same day.
Juicy J had a hospital stay earlier this month (May15), when he
underwent surgery on his ankle.
