Josh Duhamel misses baby son's first steps

Pop star FERGIE experienced mixed emotions as her son took his first steps, because her husband Josh Duhamel was not there to witness the milestone.

The Black Eyed Peas singer reveals little Axl, who turned one on 29 August (14), started walking while she was hanging out with him at home, and although she was thrilled by the magic moment, she felt bad for Transformers actor Duhamel, who was absent.

She tells Us Weekly magazine, "He just took his first steps! I was helping him climb the stairs when he got up, stretched his arms and came to me. I was like, 'Did my son just walk?' It was exhilarating!

"(But) Josh was at work. I felt so bad! But we are both working parents, so each of us is going to get different gifts."
