Jordin Sparks calling on fans to donate to clean water campaign

R&B star Jordin Sparks is calling on fans to help save children's lives by promoting a campaign which aims to provide clean drinking water to communities in developing countries.

The No Air star was reduced to tears after watching the latest campaign video by WATERisLIFE, which charts the adventures of a four-year-old Kenyan boy as bosses at the charity help the youngster complete his bucket list, including riding on a boat and seeing the ocean.

The hard hitting campaign is aimed to highlight the fact that one in five children in developing countries, including Kenya, do not live to see their fifth birthday due to the regular consumption of dirty water.

Sparks took to her Twitter.com page on Tuesday (13Aug13) to share a link to the YouTube.com video and urge fans to donate to the charity, writing, "This made me cry uncontrollably! We have to do better & help each other. (Donate to WATERisLIFE)."
