Vin Diesel has thrilled The Fast And The Furious fans by revealing Jordana Brewster and Justin Lin have returned to the franchise.

On Wednesday (25Oct17), Vin took to Facebook Live and announced Jordana, who has starred in five of the franchise's movies but did not appear in the most recent installment, The Fate of the Furious, will be back for the ninth and 10th movies, alongside Lin, who directed four of the eight films.

"Justin Lin is so old school, he's so part of the DNA of the Fast mythology, that while we're on set today, the one person he wanted to be here immediately... he wanted someone who is a part of the brotherhood, when you go past gender," the action man said. "He wanted someone very important to be here, and it's someone you all have been asking for..."

Brewster then appeared in the message with Diesel.

"It feels like no time has passed at all!" she said.

"This is so exciting....," the action man added. "There's nobody more Toretto (character's name) than my (movie) sister, Jordana Brewster, who is Mia Toretto. And those of you who know the franchise know how much of a bada** she is. And you're about to see that in the upcoming chapters of the Fast and Furious. "

The next installment of the franchise will hit theaters in 2020. The movie was originally set to be released in 2019, but it was pushed back to make room for Dwayne Johnson's spin-off. The delay has caused a feud between Johnson and Tyrese Gibson, who has slammed his co-star for putting himself before the "Fast Family".
