John Stamos arrested for drink driving

Actor John Stamos was arrested and charged with driving under the influence in Santa Monica, California on Friday (12Jun15).

The Full House star's car was stopped by police after they received reports abut a vehicle being driven erratically. Officers from the Beverly Hills Police Department then decided Stamos needed medical attention, and paramedics transported him to a nearby hospital.

The actor was charged with driving under the influence and released into the care of the hospital. He is due to appear in court on 11 September (15).

Stamos, who has also appeared in Glee, E.R., and Friends, recently announced he is to star and produce a remake of his TV show Full House, which ran from 1987 to 1995, called Fuller House, which is to debut on Netflix next year (16).
