Jodie Sweetin hospitalized with ankle injury

Actress Jodie Sweetin is in hospital after suffering an injury during rehearsals for U.S. reality show Dancing With The Stars.

The Fuller House star is currently competing in the popular ballroom dance contest, but she was sidelined on Thursday (21Apr16) after hurting her ankle while rehearsing with professional partner Keo Mostepe.

According to multiple reports, Jodie was taken from the rehearsal studio to a local Los Angeles hospital where she is being treated.

It is unclear whether the injury will prevent her from performing during Monday's (25Apr16) live episode, when she and Keo were planning to do a contemporary dance in homage to Pink's famous music video for her hit single Try.

Sweetin is among the nine contestants vying for the coveted mirrorball trophy against stars such as actress Kim Fields, Boyz II Men singer Wanya Morris, and model Nyle DiMarco.
