JJ Hamblett becomes first-time father

Union J star Jj Hamblett has become a father for the first time.

The British pop singer's model girlfriend, Caterina Lopez, gave birth to a baby boy on Thursday (28Nov13).

Hamblett, 25, who rose to fame with the band on British TV show The X Factor in 2012, took to his Twitter.com account on Thursday morning to announce the happy news, writing, "It's official at 9 30am today I became a daddy. The healthy little boy has arrived at a weight of 6lb!!!!! Soooo (sic) happy right now."

A short time later, he revealed the child's name, tweeting a picture of the tot's feet with the caption, "Princeton J. Alexander."

One Direction star Niall Horan was among the well-wishers who sent congratulatory messages via Twitter, writing, "Congrats (sic) JJ mate!"
