Jesy Nelson pulls out of Japan trip due to illness

Jesy Nelson is staying at home while her Little Mix bandmates visit Japan because she is battling an ear infection.

The singer has announced she will not be joining Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock on the promotional trip to Asia as she is not well enough to fly.

"Hey guys unfortunately I have a... horrid ear infection that is not allowing me to fly and see you beautiful Japanese mixers (fans)," Jesy writes in a post on the official Little Mix Twitter.com page. "I am so gutted that I'm not gonna be able to come over and see you guys again I love you all very much & I can't wait to see you again soon."

The remaining three singers posted a picture on Instagram.com showing them sat in an airplane, and added, "We are gutted that our beautiful Jesminda (sic) won't be in Japan with us BUT we wouldn't miss this trip for the world! We are so excited to see our Japanese Mixers! See you soon! Leigh, Jade & Pez. PS. Get well soon Jesy."

The girls are travelling to the country to promote their third album Get Weird.
