Jessica Simpson pays tribute to late business partner

Jessica Simpson has taken to social media to pay tribute to her business partner Vince Camuto following the shoe designer's death on Wednesday (21Jan15).

Camuto, the co-founder of footwear company Nine West, passed away at his home in Greenwich, Connecticut following a battle with cancer. He was 78.

After hearing the news, Simpson took to her Instagram.com account to mourn the loss of Camuto, who helped the singer launch her namesake fashion and lifestyle brand in 2005.

The pop star shared a picture of herself posing with her mentor, and added a quote from the late shoe designer: "'It is never about one person. It's the teams you put in place. Without the right people, you're nowhere' - Vince Camuto."

She writes, "Thank you, Vince, for the humble power that has taken me everywhere. You are my mentor, my family, the creator of all my dreams. I will forever walk in your shoes... You made them. Broken Heart."
