Jessica Simpson hosts baby shower for CaCee Cobb

Jessica Simpson treated her best friend and fellow mother-to-be Cacee Cobb to a baby shower in California on Sunday (02Jun13).

The pop star hosted an intimate gathering for family and friends at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills to mark the impending arrival of Cobb's first child with Scrubs actor Donald Faison.

CaCee Cobb, who is due to give birth in August (13), took to her Twitter.com page to share a photo of herself and Jessica Simpson showing off their matching baby bumps at the event, writing, "Showered with so much love yesterday... Thank you, Jessica Simpson. Best friends. Best baby shower ever."

Jessica Simpson is expecting her second child with fiance Eric Johnson next month (Jul13).
