Jessica Alba honoured for children's work

Jessica Alba was honoured in Connecticut on Monday (20May13) in recognition of her philanthropic efforts.
The Sin City star, who has two young daughters, was handed the Champion for Children Award by Dr. Philip J. Landrigan, the director of Mount Sinai Children's Environmental Health Center.
Alba was given the honour for helping advance the centre's mission
through her work, which includes her eco-friendly baby product line
Honest and her book, The Honest Life, based on bringing her
children up in a non-toxic household.
