Jerry O'Connell and Rebecca Romijn renew their wedding vows on 11-11-11

Jerry O'Connell and Rebecca Romijn have marked the special date of 11-11-11 by renewing their marriage vows in New York.

The couple staged a very private ceremony on the banks of the Hudson River on Friday morning.

Actor Jerry O'Connell, who is currently appearing in new play Seminar on Broadway, tells People.com, "A couple of nights ago, I said to Rebecca, 'We should renew our vows at 11:11 and 11 seconds on 11/11.' And she said, 'We should do it at 11th Street and 11th Ave.'"

"I didn't think it was gonna be so emotional, but it kind of was... I think I was more emotional than my wife."
