Jeremy Piven supports World War I fundraiser
Actor Jeremy Piven is throwing his support behind a fundraising initiative to mark the centenary of World War I.
The Entourage star will be taking part in a daredevil stunt in The 100 Year Challenge, a year-long fundraiser for the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire, England, which is a site of remembrance for fallen soldiers.
Piven has the choice of either skydiving or abseiling later this
year (14) to raise money for the cause, and all the proceeds will
go to the Arboretum.
He says, "I feel honored to have been asked to support a charity
that I feel so strongly about. I wanted to do more to honor these
brave service men and women, so I didn't hesitate to get behind the
100 Year challenge and I'm very much looking forward to taking
part."
The subject of the First World War was predominately featured in
the second season of Piven's popular period drama Mr.
Selfridge.
