Jennifer Lopez launching vegan-friendly supplement range
Jennifer Lopez is stepping up her healthy new lifestyle by developing her own line of vegan-friendly health supplements.
The superstar recently completed a 22-day vegan diet to help her get into tip-top shape for the launch of her new album, AKA, and now she is working with bosses at Body Labs for her latest venture, according to Us Weekly magazine.
The On The Floor hitmaker recently revealed she has continued to
stick to a plant-based diet, although she has added a little fish
into her meals.
She added, "I enjoy eating that way. I never did. And I didn't know
how good you can feel when you put healthy stuff in your body."
News of the supplement range comes weeks after Lopez returned to
her native Bronx, New York to launch a healthy eating campaign,
vowing to help bring down the official rate of overweight children
in the borough, which is currently at 50 per cent.
The mother-of-two told the crowd, "I grew up on rice and beans and
pork chops... (Change is) scary... But all it means is making
grains and fruits and vegetables the main part of every meal we
make... This (obesity level) has to change. We have to start doing
good things for ourselves now."
