Jennifer Lopez cries 'almost every night' of residency
Jennifer Lopez cries almost every night when she pays tribute to her children during her Las Vegas residency.
The Jenny from the Block singer takes time out of her All I Have show to praise her eight-year-old twins Max and Emme and she struggles to keep her emotions in check in front of the crowd during the special moment.
"People are like, 'Is she crying!?' I'm like, "Almost every night,
thank you," she told ETOnline.
During the tribute to her kids, their faces appear on the big
screens beside the stage during her performance and Max gets
concerned that the audience are laughing at them.
"They love it. You know, they go, 'Why is my face up there!?'"
Lopez added. "My son will be like, 'Why is my face there? People
are laughing at us!' He gets worried about that stuff. My daughter
(just) loves watching it... She just watches me. I don't know what
she's thinking yet. I'm sure I'll know soon."
The residency, at The AXIS auditorium in Planet Hollywood, kicked
off in January (16) and is divided into four legs, concluding on 17
December (16). The third leg begins on 20 July (16).
Jennifer put the show together and previously admitted to chat show
host Jimmy Fallon that she had given herself so much to do during
the concert that she is wiped out afterward.
"It's a lot of work. Why did I put together this show that's so
hard for myself?" she said in February (16). "I was like, 'This is
going to be sooooo good! We can do this, this, this and this!' And
then at the end of the show I'm like… dead! And then I'm like, 'Oh
my God - I have to do this again tomorrow?' This is crazy!"
Besides the show and raising her children, Jennifer also stars in
TV series Shades of Blue, which has been renewed for a second
season, and has lent her voice to the upcoming animated movie Ice
Age: Collision Course.
