Jennifer Lawrence visits patients at Montreal children's hospital

Jennifer Lawrence showed off her superhero spirit by visiting young patients at Shriners Hospital for Children in Canada on Friday (07Aug15).

The Oscar winner has been filming X-Men: Apocalypse in Montreal and took a break from the set to meet with children suffering from neuromusculoskeletal disorders.

Photographs from Lawrence's visit were posted on the hospital's official Facebook.com page, including snaps of the star meeting with the children and staff, with one image showing her signing a young boy's arm cast.

The caption for the set of photos reads: "A very special visitor stopped by our Canada hospital today. Jennifer Lawrence is in Montreal filming a new movie and she made time to visit some of our ‪#‎ShrinersCanada‬ kids and staff. Everyone had a great time!"
