Jennifer Lawrence pitches pet baby app to T.J. Miller
Jennifer Lawrence is developing an app which allows animal lovers to see what a baby with their pet would look like.
The Oscar-winning actress may be one of the most in demand performers at the moment but she hasn't let the fame go to her head. During an appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden on Tuesday night (13Dec16) Jennifer once again showed off her goofy side when she discussed an idea she has for a new phone venture.
“My idea for an app is an app where you see what you and your dog’s
baby would look like... Or cat,” she explained to fellow guest T.
J. Miller, who James thought would be the best person to pitch to
thanks to his role in tech-based TV comedy Silicon Valley. “You
take a picture of yourself, a picture of the dog and the whole key
to this app idea is it’s all in the details. It has to be very
real. They send me one prototype and it’s like me with dog ears and
a snout, I’m like, ‘No’. It’s all about features. The more
realistic it is the better.”
The 26-year-old’s parents were sat in the audience while she
chatted to James, and her mother even made a cameo via an awkward
family photo Jennifer shared, showing her crouched down behind her
mom Karen. While she looks like she’s just sitting down behind her
mom, Jennifer revealed she was actually peeing.
Embarrassing herself further, the Silver Linings Playbook actress
recalled the time she threw up at a party hosted by Madonna and
talent agent Guy Oseary for the Academy Awards.
Having first discussed the scenario back in 2014, Jennifer added:
“One year for the Oscars, I think it was the American Hustle year,
I juice cleansed and then got really, really wasted. Then something
was smokin' and then I barfed, at Guy Oseary's house, I vomited,
cheers Guy.
“I remember going up to Ellen Page and saying, 'I need to get in my
car,' and she was like, ‘Not my problem.’ And I was like, ‘Take me
home Ellen.’”
