Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson struggled with love scenes
Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson repeatedly erupted in fits of giggles on The Hunger Games set because their close friendship offscreen made it awkward to shoot romantic scenes.
The pair plays Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark in the 2012 movie and its upcoming sequel The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, and they have previously told how they kept themselves and the crew amused by playing practical jokes on set.
Now Hutcherson has confessed the camera crews had to frequently
stop shooting during emotional scenes because the pair would break
down laughing at the most serious moments.
Hutcherson tells British magazine Glamour, "Jennifer and I were
nervous about our new co-stars because we're kind of crazy when
we're together, so it can be a little scary for the new people...
It is (difficult filming with a close friend). There are times when
we've had to cut because we can't get through a take without
laughing."
