Jennifer Garner collected Argo placemats at BAFTAs

Jennifer Garner collected special placemats commemorating her husband Ben Affleck's movie Argo at the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) Film Awards as a keepsake for their daughters.

The actor picked up the Best Director trophy at the London prizegiving earlier this month (Feb13), while Argo - about the real-life 1979 Iranian hostage crisis - beat out the likes of Les Miserables, Life Of Pi, Lincoln and Zero Dark Thirty for the Best Film honour.

Placemats featuring scenes of Affleck in Argo were laid on tables at the event's afterparty, and Garner ensured she collected them all to take home for the couple's young daughters, Violet and Seraphina.

She tells Britain's Hello! magazine, "I'm taking these home for the girls - they will love them. I'm so proud of my husband."
