Jennifer Aniston stages Friends reunion skit for TV show
Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox and Matthew Perry staged a hilarious mini-Friends reunion for mutual pal Ellen Degeneres' talk show.
Jennifer Aniston, who co-hosted Wednesday's (22May13) program with the comedienne, showed up unannounced at Matthew Perry's home to ask for advice from the actor, who recently joined Ellen DeGeneres as a presenter.
Referring to her former TV comedy castmate as David - a reference
to their co-star David Schwimmer, Jennifer Aniston said, "I just
don't know as many dumb jokes as you."
Matthew Perry scolded his old pal for turning up on his doorstep at
8am, insisting she should call first, and reminded her that they're
no longer Friends, stating, "We haven't actually seen each other in
a really long time, like, eight years."
Adding to the tense stand-off, Courteney Cox appeared at the door,
pretending she had spent the night with Matthew Perry and then
referred to her real-life best pal Jennifer Aniston as Lisa -
mixing her up with another castmate, Lisa Kudrow.
Courteney Cox stormed off in mock disgust as Matthew Perry
pretended to hit on Jennifer Aniston and the skit ended with Ellen
DeGeneres crawling past Matthew Perry and her wife Portia DeRossi
dashing out of his apartment as the actor screamed, "LeBlanc, get
out of the fountain, man."
Matt LeBlanc was the sixth member of the Friends cast.
On Wednesday's episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Jennifer
Aniston admitted she missed working with "Matty and Court" and the
skit they filmed together made her "very nostalgic".
She added, "It's a great thing to go back to your family like that.
Also, I know that people will love it."
