Jennifer Aniston remembers fantastic Friends experience
While starring on sitcom Friends, actress Jennifer Aniston experienced a powerful sense of connection she has never felt again following the show's conclusion.
The 47-year-old portrayed character Rachel Green in the hit series between 1994-2004 and she reunited with her former cast mates to celebrate the work of director James (Jim) Burrows in a new NBC network television special entitled Must See TV: An All-Star Tribute.
Despite Friends ending more than a decade ago, Jennifer still
cherishes the time they all had together on the show.
"We would do anything for Jim Burrows because he really gave us the
opportunity of a lifetime and probably the best 10 years of our
acting careers that we will forever remember," she said in a
preview of Must See TV special. "And had some of the greatest
creativity. We experienced friendship, family, heartbreak, babies
-- everything together. We also sort of had a wonderful experience
with the world loving us as well. They connected with us."
Jennifer sat alongside co-stars Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt
LeBlanc and David Schwimmer for the chat - fellow cast member
Matthew Perry was absent from the highly anticipated reunion due to
his West End theater commitments in London, England.
All five actors spoke fondly of James and how he helped them
develop the strong bond which translated onto the small screen.
"He really encouraged us to get along, get to know one another and
be kind to one another, support one another, watch one another and
help one another," Matt, 48, said, while Lisa added how the Friends
director had given up his dressing room so the six of stars could
bond over games of poker.
Must See TV: An All-Star Tribute will air on 21 February (16) on
NBC.
