Jenner sisters to launch eyewear line
Model sisters and reality TV stars Kylie and Kendall Jenner have developed an eyewear line.
The fashionable siblings will launch their Kendall + Kylie designs at department store Nordstrom and other select outlets in February (17). Their spectacles will retail from $145 .
The collection is a collaboration between the Jenners and craftsmen
at Allure Eyewear, and comprises acetate frames and specialty lens
colors.
The sisters have already found success as designers with
ready-to-wear outfits and accessories.
A joint statement from the stars announcing the new eyewear line on
Wednesday (16Nov16) reads: "We're pleased to offer our new
collection of sunglasses. Eyewear is the finishing touch that
elevates any look. We can't wait for our customers to see the world
through our eyes."
Kendall will surely end her social media hiatus as the launch date
approaches, after leaving her 68.6 million Instagram followers
baffled by shutting down the social media page.
During an appearance on Wednesday's (16Nov16) The Ellen DeGeneres
Show, the 21-year-old explained why her account had disappeared,
revealing she felt it was time "for a little bit of a break".
"I'm always on it (Instagram)," Kendall said. "I would wake up in
the morning and look at it first thing; I would go to bed and it
was the last thing I would look at. I felt a little too dependent
on it. So I kind of wanted to take a minute. It's a detox."
Prior to deactivating her Instagram, the Estee Lauder brand
ambassador held one of the most popular celebrity accounts, with
one picture of her lying on the floor with her hair spread into
hearts earning her over three million likes - the most of any photo
in 2015.
Kendall's Twitter and Facebook pages remain active.
