Jay-Z to drop the 'B' word from songs

Jay-Z has vowed to drop the word 'b**ch' from his lyrics after becoming a first-time dad.
The hitmaker's baby girl Blue Ivy was born in New York last Saturday (07Jan12) and she has inspired dad to clean up his rhymes - something that even Oprah Winfrey failed to do while challenging Jay-Z about his questionable lyrics during a 2010 appearance on her show.
In a poem dedicated to his little girl, the 99 Problems rapper
writes, "Before I got in the game, made a change, and got rich/I
didn’t think hard about using the word b**ch/I rapped, I
flipped it, I sold it, I lived it/Now with my daughter in this
world I curse those that give it."
He continues, "I never realized while on the fast track that
I’d give riddance to the word b**ch/To leave her innocence
in tact/No man will degrade her, or call her name/I'm so focused on
your future, the degradation has passed.
"I wish you wealth, health and insight/Forever young you may
pass/Blue Ivy Carter, my angel."
