Jay Z is set to make $1.5 million for the sale of his ownership stake in the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, according to a report.
The move comes a few months after the 99 Problems hitmaker sold his minority stake in resident basketball team the Brooklyn Nets to head coach Jason Kidd for $500,000.
Per National Basketball Association rules, the hip hop hitmaker was
forced to sell his shares in the team and venue because of his new
sports agency - Roc Nation Sports.
The Barclays Center in Brooklyn hosted the MTV Video Music Awards
last month (Aug13).
