Jay Z has removed his debut album Reasonable Doubt from music streaming service Spotify following the launch of his rival site Tidal.
As of Monday (06Apr14), Spotify users can no longer stream the 1996 disc, but the entire track listing is available on the hip-hop star's Tidal service, which he officially relaunched with a host of stars in New York last week (ends05Apr15).
Rihanna and Beyonce, who are both public supporters of Jay Z's
service, have since released songs exclusive to the app, while
Erykah Badu's short film They Die By Dawn debuted on Tidal over the
weekend (04-05Apr15).
The rest of Jay Z's back catalogue remained on Spotify as WENN went
to press.
