Jay-Z ensured his headlining slot at London's Hackney Weekend on Saturday (23Jun12) didn't overshadow his sister-in-law Solange Knowles' birthday celebrations by presenting her with a cake and champagne at his afterparty.
The 99 Problems hitmaker was watched by his wife Beyonce and her younger sister as he took to the stage at the BBC Radio 1 event in the U.K. capital.
The trio partied with Rihanna and M.I.A. after the show, and Jay-Z
insisted on marking Solange's 26th birthday in the early hours of
Sunday (24Jun12).
A source tells Britain's Daily Mirror, "It was really sweet.
Solange hadn't even noticed that it had turned 12am when Jay got
everybody singing together. She was really touched."
