Jason Aldean celebrates engagement at party in Nashville

Country singer Jason Aldean celebrated his recent engagement and upcoming wedding by throwing a big party in Nashville, Tennessee over the weekend (17-18Jan15).

The Big Green Tractor hitmaker proposed to girlfriend Brittany Kerr in September (14) and they celebrated their relationship by throwing a lavish party at the city's Citizen Club venue on Saturday night (17Jan15).

Guests were treated to Champagne, a towering white cake and a night of dancing, according to Usmagazine.com.

The couple is due to wed later this year (15).

Aldean's romance with Kerr hit headlines in 2012, when they were pictured kissing while he was still married to his high school sweetheart Jessica Ussery. The marriage broke down and Aldean went public with Kerr as his girlfriend during an appearance at the CMT Music Awards last June (14).
