Jamie Dornan 'hates' his clean-shaven face

Heartthrob Jamie Dornan can't stand how he looks without a beard.

The Northern Irish model-turned-actor became an international heartthrob thanks to his portrayal of kinky businessman Christian Grey in the Fifty Shades of Grey movie adaptation, and while he may have won over female fans with his looks, he is less than impressed with his face, especially when it's not hidden behind stubble.

"I hate my face without a beard, I swear to God I really hate it," he told U.K. TV host Jonathan Ross. "I always think I look really young. I think when I'm clean shaven, I look like a thumb... My own 'Jamie resting face' is what I have an issue with."

While he isn't taken with his face, the 34-year-old has no issue stripping off to film a number of sex scenes with his co-star Dakota Johnson and he admits he was completely naked during the back-to-back filming of sequels Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed, but he's uncertain if shots of his genitals will make the final cut.

When asked if he will be totally nude, he replied, "I haven't seen it so I don't know. I don't know where the cameras were, I don't bother myself with that, I just get on with it. At times you are (fully naked)... I don't really care about that sort of stuff. I'm not nudist beach guy, but I don't really mind."

Jamie is married to Amelia Warner and the pair welcomed a second daughter in February (16). Amelia was present during some filming of the sequels but she hasn't watched the first film.

"My wife is one of the most brilliant human beings in the world," he said. "She hasn't watched it. Why would she watch it? She wouldn't put herself through that."
