James Franco to star in The Mindy Project

Hollywood actor James Franco is heading back to the small screen with a recurring role in TV comedy The Mindy Project.
The Spider-Man star has been cast as Paul Leotard, a fashion model-turned-doctor who replaces actress Mindy Kaling's gynaecologist character in her clinic when she goes abroad on a volunteer mission.
Franco's multi-episode arc will air in September (13) but it's not
the hunk's first time on TV - his breakthrough role was on cult
comedy Freaks and Geeks, and he also appeared in daytime soap
General Hospital.
