James Franco stunned by bold doppelganger

Actor James Franco recently came face-to-face with a European doppelganger who has been posing as the star at the Toronto Film Festival in Canada.

The 127 Hours star had heard there was an imposter at the festival and was stunned when he met him at a party.

Franco explains, "All my friends had been there and they were like, 'Hey, we were at a party last night and we were hanging out with you, ha ha, and they'd send these pictures and it kinda looked like me in the background.

"The next night he was at the same party and... he was saying, 'I'm James'... He came over to me and I was like, 'What's up?' and he had, like, some central European accent."

Franco posed for a picture with his lookalike and showed it off during an appearance on chat show Conan on Thursday night (21Nov13), joking that he hopes his doppelganger doesn't switch accents.

He added, "That's the only thing that's keeping him from coming to L.A. and moving into my house."
