James Corden picks up Selena Gomez for Carpool Karaoke

Selena Gomez is the latest star to hitch a ride with chat show host James Corden for his hit Carpool Karaoke sketch.
The Late Late Show presenter's frequent skit, in which he and a special guest sing along to hits while driving around Los Angeles in a car, will feature the Same Old Love star for a new segment slated to air in June (16).
To make the announcement, James posted a photo on his new Instagram
account of himself and Selena in the front seat of a car, writing
the caption, "Getting a lift to work with this little chaffinch
today! This is my 1st Instagram post!!!!".
Selena follows in the footsteps of stars such as Jennifer Lopez,
Adele, Chris Martin, and Mariah Carey, who have all participated in
the viral video segment.
Bosses at Twitter recently released the top 10 most tweeted
installments of Carpool Karaoke, with Selena's rumored flame Niall
Horan and his One Direction bandmates taking the top spot, scoring
338,000 tweets in the first 24 hours of its release. Following
behind is her ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber, whose two Carpool Karaoke
segments take the second and third slots.
The Sorry star is also featured in the Christmas Carpool Karaoke
video, which ranks at number four on the list and includes a
montage of One Direction, Stevie Wonder, Iggy Azalea, Rod Stewart,
Carrie Underwood and Jason Derulo singing Joy to the World.
And while Adele's installment has scored the most YouTube views
with 96 million hits, she rounds out the top five on the Twitter
shortlist.
