James Corden is Brits' dream road-trip companion

Funnyman James Corden has topped a quirky new list to find British motorists' favorite celebrity passenger.

The Into the Woods star, who fronts a carpool karaoke segment on his late night TV show and ferries stars around Hollywood singing along to their favorite tunes, is the U.K.'s dream driving companion, according to a new Confused.com poll.

Seventeen per cent of those surveyed picked Corden, while Stephen Fry came in second with 13 per cent and Jennifer Aniston was third with 11 per cent of the vote.

Former Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson and Adele, one of Corden's carpool karaoke guests, round out the top five.

Meanwhile, Kim Kardashian topped the nightmare road-trip companion list with 36 per cent, with Clarkson coming in a close second with 35 per cent.
