Jake Bugg bonded with Cara Delevingne over rise to fame

British musician Jake Bugg has opened up about his relationship with model Cara Delevingne, insisting they were friends who bonded over their meteoric rise to fame.

The pair hit headlines earlier this year (13) after being spotted on the London social scene, and reportedly went on to date for several months.

Bugg has now revealed they were never serious, and he sees the beauty as a good pal who knew what he was going through after being thrust into the spotlight.

He tells Britain's The Sun, "I need a woman who will kick me into shape and doesn't give a f**k about what I do. As for Cara, it wasn't really anything. Someone took a photo of us and that was it. She was just a really good friend to me. It was cool to meet someone who's got the same crazy life. You can chat about it and say how mad it is."

Bugg also insists he was never concerned about Delevingne's privileged upbringing, adding, "I didn't care about our class difference. I don't care about class. I know I'm working class and I'm proud of that. I'll never judge anyone from where they are from, as long as they are a nice person. That is what matters."
