J. Cole engaged to college sweetheart - report

Rapper J. Cole is reportedly preparing to wed after becoming engaged to his longtime girlfriend.

The Lights Please hitmaker is said to have proposed to his college sweetheart Melissa Heholt with a four-carat diamond ring, according to Sister 2 Sister magazine.

Heholt recently fueled the rumors by paying a visit to New York City's L'Fay Bridal salon, where bosses posted a photo of the bride-to-be in her wedding gown on the store's Instagram.com profile, alongside the caption, "Congratulations to our newest bride".

The snap has since been deleted and neither Cole nor Heholt have commented on the marriage claims.
