Iggy Azalea to make TV hosting debut with House of Style
Rapper Iggy Azalea is set to make her television hosting debut on MTV's fashion series House Of Style.
The Fancy hitmaker is bringing her own unique style to the reboot of the popular TV program, which gives viewers an inside look at the latest trends in fashion.
Azalea shares her excitement for the new gig in a statement which
reads: "I am so excited to bring back this iconic show for another
generation of teenagers.
"The biggest impact that House of Style had on pop culture is its
ability to make fashion fun and interesting to fans who are both
diehard fashionistas or not at all."
Over the eight-episode season, Azalea will seek out the latest
street style trends and tour music video sets with the likes of
Rita Ora and designer Jeremy Scott.
The new House of Style series will premiere on 4 August (14).
Azalea will also co-host the MTV Video Music Awards pre-show on 24
August (14), and the ceremony's fashion recap following the
prizegiving.
The popular MTV series originally ran from 1989 to 2000, with
supermodel hosts including Cindy Crawford, Rebecca Romijn and Molly
Sims.
