Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed's wedding details revealed

Newlyweds Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed exchanged vows at the Tuscali Mountain Inn in Topanga, California on Sunday (26Apr15), it has been confirmed.

The bride wore a custom couture Claire Pettibone gown for the rustic affair, which included guests like Somerhalder's The Vampire Diaries co-stars Kat Graham, Paul Wesley, Matt Davis and Phoebe Tonkin.

According to Us Weekly, animal lovers Reed and Somerhalder asked guests for donations to the Ian Somerhalder Foundation, a charity the actor set up to help rescued animals, in lieu of gifts.

The couple became engaged in January (15) and news of their nuptials broke after pictures from the big day surfaced on Twitter.com hours after the ceremony.

Reed was previously married to singer Paul McDonald, while Somerhalder famously dated his former The Vampire Diaries co-star Nina Dobrev.
