Housing complex named after Jon Bon Jovi
Written by . Published: April 23 2014
A housing complex in Pennsylvania now bears rocker Jon Bon Jovi's initials, after his foundation helped fund the development for less fortunate families.
The Livin' on a Prayer hitmaker's Bon Jovi's Soul Foundation has been helping the homeless since 2006, and their latest project also serves as a tribute to the rocker and his charitable efforts.
Bon Jovi's organization handed over $16.6 million towards the
complex in Philadelphia, a 55-unit development which will be
occupied by low-income tenants.
The frontman was on hand for the grand opening of the four-story
building on Tuesday (21Apr14), which is called JBJ Soul Homes.
