Heidi Klum saves son from drowning
Heidi Klum turned real-life hero on Sunday (31Mar13) when she raced to save her son from drowning after he was swept away in the Pacific Ocean while on vacation in Hawaii.
The German beauty's seven-year-old boy Henry was swimming with two nannies off the coast of Oahu when a strong riptide pushed them further out into the deep water.
Klum and her bodyguard boyfriend Martin Kirsten saw the drama
unfold and leaped into action, and luckily, they were able to pull
the trio safely to shore.
A statement issued by Klum to UsMagazine.com reads: "We got pulled
into the ocean by a big wave. Of course, as a mother, I was very
scared for my child and everyone else in the water. Henry is a
strong swimmer and was able to swim back to land. We were able to
get everyone out safely."
The scary incident came shortly after the family's Easter Sunday
celebrations, which included an Easter egg hunt along the beach.
The mum-of-four posted a photo of the hunt on her Twitter.com page,
alongside the caption, "Happy Easter!"
Klum split from Henry's father, singer Seal, last year (12).
