Singer Halsey has been booked to headline the 2016 Nobel Peace Prize concert in Norway.
The young star, who has spent much of the past three months at the top of the pop charts with her The Chainsmokers collaboration Closer, will follow in the footsteps of past performers Mary J. Blige and Sir Paul McCartney when she steps out onstage in Oslo on 11 December (16).
Comedian and late night TV host Conan O'Brien will host the
show.
This year's peace prize was awarded to Colombia's President Juan
Manuel Santos.
