Haim push back European shows

Written by . Published: April 20 2013

Haim have postponed a string of upcoming shows in Europe to finish work on their debut album.

The group, made up of sisters Este, Danielle and Alana, were set to perform in London next month (May13), followed by several summer (13) shows in cities including Paris, France and Berlin, Germany - but the concerts have been pushed back to allow the siblings extra time to complete their record.

In a video on their Facebook.com page, Este Haim says, "We're just putting the finishing touches on the record and it's almost there. We can, like, taste it, we can smell it; it's almost there but we have to finish it and because we have to finish it, we also have to reschedule this European run that we're supposed to do in the next couple of weeks...

"We're really, really sad about it... But we wanna put out the best record possible. So we're gonna finish the record, reschedule the shows. We're in the process of doing that right now and then we'll be able to come out and perform and play and have a good time."
