Hailey Baldwin: 'Don't bring me into Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez feud'
Hailey Baldwin is refusing to be caught in the middle of Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez's online feud.
The former lovers fell out after she took aim at the Baby singer for threatening to quit Instagram over vile remarks made about his teenage girlfriend Sofia Richie.
In a now-deleted post Selena shot back: "If you can't handle the
hate then stop posting pictures of your girlfriend lol - it should
be special between you two only. Don't be mad at your fans. They
love you. They were there for you before anyone."
The comment irked her ex, who fired back, prompting Gomez to allege
Bieber had cheated on her multiple times when they were together.
Justin then suggested she had cheated on him with Zayn Malik,
before deleting his Instagram account on Monday (15Aug16).
The singer was previously linked to Hailey, the model daughter of
actor Stephen Baldwin, last year (15) and on Monday, Baldwin
appeared to enter into the conflict in a now-deleted post on
Instagram.
"We've all had our fair share of things we've done, both good and
bad," she reportedly wrote. "What makes the present so powerful is
when we take complete responsibility for our actions, we allow
ourselves self-growth. Misplacing the blame onto someone else isn't
going to get you to the next stage in life, so try not to
manipulate a situation to make yourself look better."
"The truth always come(s) to light, so it's better just to own it,"
she continued. "We're all guilty of things, but show people you
have enough love and respect for yourself to be honest about it and
learn from it."
However, it now seems Hailey's comments were not aimed at
Justin.
"The only thing I 'weigh in on' is everyday life in general," she
wrote on Twitter. "Don't rope me into things I'm not a part of and
please respect my privacy."
