Hailee Steinfeld: 'I'm not dating Justin Bieber'

Hailee Steinfeld has denied reports linking her to Justin Bieber, insisting she and the Baby singer have been friends for years.

After photos of Bieber FaceTiming the actress and singer from a car emerged, gossips have been suggesting the two young stars are more than just pals.

Friends told Gossip Cop earlier this week that the couple was not an item and now the True Grit star has spoken out about the rumors herself, telling SiriusXM's Morning Mash Up she's not dating Justin.

"It's crazy," she said. "I don't know why people make such a big deal (of this). We're friends. We've been friends for years.

Steinfeld, 20, has been dating Cameron Smoller since last year (16), and he appeared to be smitten with her as recently as Sunday (30Apr17), when he posted a photo of himself and his girlfriend on Instagram, and captioned it with three red rose emojis.

The couple was spotted together at the Nylon Midnight Garden Party during the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, California last month (Apr17).
