Gwyneth Paltrow takes aim at Met Ball again
Gwyneth Paltrow has made sure the organisers of the annual Costume Institute Gala in New York are well aware of her feelings about the glamorous fashion night out by expanding on them during a recent radio interview.
The actress risked the wrath of the event planners, including style queen Anna Wintour, after declaring this year's (13) bash was "too crowded" and "un-fun" in a recent USA Today article.
And to hammer home her point, she blasted the Met Ball again during
a radio interview for Australia's Kyle & Jackie O show.
Paltrow said, "You always think, 'Oh my God, this is gonna be so
glamorous and amazing and you're gonna see all these people...' and
then you get there and it's so hot, it's so crowded, everyone's
pushing you... This year, it was really intense. It wasn't
fun."
And she also took aim at the night's fashion theme, adding,
"Everyone was dressed in punk. I feel like we're all a bit old to
be trying to dress punk."
Paltrow wasn't that impressed by the night's entertainment, either,
adding: "Kanye West was playing and he was furious and he threw his
microphone down. It was all drama."
