Gwyneth Paltrow: 'I have sleepovers with Chris Martin'

Gwyneth Paltrow and her ex-husband Chris Martin have regular sleepovers at each other's houses for the sake of their kids and she now considers him "like a brother".

The Hollywood actress split from the Coldplay frontman in 2014 after 10 years of marriage, branding their break-up "conscious uncoupling" and vowing to remain on good terms for daughter Apple and son Moses.

Gwyneth, who is now dating Glee co-creator Brad Falchuk, has revealed she often stays at Chris' home in Malibu, California and the musician also has regular sleepovers at her house.

"We spend a lot of time together," she tells Glamour magazine. "He's been away for two weeks (promoting his album). Last night he got in at midnight and slept here so he could surprise the kids in the morning, we could all have breakfast, and he could take them to school... So ... we're not living together, but he's more than welcome to be with us whenever he wants. And vice versa: I sleep in his house in Malibu a lot with the kids."

The Iron Man star goes on to reveal she is still fond of Chris, and they have become more like brother and sister since the split.

"We're still very much a family, even though we don't have a romantic relationship. He's like my brother," she adds.

When the former couple called time on the relationship back in 2014, they released a heartfelt statement promising to stay friends for the sake of their two children, explaining, "It is with hearts full of sadness that we have decided to separate. We have been working hard for well over a year, some of it together, some of it separated, to see what might have been possible between us, and we have come to the conclusion that while we love each other very much we will remain separate.

"We are, however, and always will be a family, and in many ways we are closer than we have ever been. We are parents first and foremost, to two incredibly wonderful children and we ask for their and our space and privacy to be respected at this difficult time... We hope that as we consciously uncouple and coparent, we will be able to continue in the same manner."

While Gwyneth went on to strike up a romance with TV executive Brad, Chris was linked to another Hollywood blonde - The Hunger Games star Jennifer Lawrence.

Their romance reportedly came to an end last summer (15).
