Gwen Stefani keeps Blake Shelton close during family trip

Gwen Stefani made sure her new boyfriend Blake Shelton was involved in her recent family trip to Disneyland, by video-chatting with the country star.

Gwen was with her three sons - Kingston, Zuma and Apollo - at the Californian theme park on Friday (27Nov15) in a post-Thanksgiving day out. She was snapped video-chatting with her The Voice co-star, and even encouraged her sons to talk to the country singer.

Blake was seen wearing a checked baseball cap and plaid shirt during the call, looking animated and happy as he chatted to the No Doubt frontwoman.

Gwen was seen hopping on and off rides with her eldest sons and her niece Stella, and was accompanied by her mother. She was spotted cuddling up to her youngest son Apollo, who was draped in a blue blanket, as they casually strolled through the theme park.

She later posted several snaps of the day out on Instagram.com, including images of herself meeting Star Wars characters Chewbacca and Darth Vader.

Blake spent Thanksgiving at his ranch in Oklahoma, while Gwen spent hers with family in Los Angeles. The pair announced they were dating in October (15), and confirmed the relationship just before the Country Music Awards.

"Gwen and Blake are longtime friends who have very recently started dating," a representative for Gwen said in a statement.

Blake split from his wife, fellow country star Miranda Lambert, in July (15), while Gwen finalised her divorce from rocker Gavin Rossdale in October (15).
