Glee star's boyfriend found dead in hotel room

The boyfriend of Glee star Becca Tobin was found dead in his hotel room on Thursday (10Jul14).

The actress, who plays cheerleader Kitty in the comedy series, was accompanying nightclub owner Matt Bendik on a business trip to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania when the tragedy happened.

The couple was spotted with friends on Wednesday (09Jul14) night and returned to their hotel together.

Bendik's body was found by a maid on Thursday afternoon. He was 35 years old.

It is unknown where Tobin was at the time.

The circumstances surrounding his death had not been revealed as WENN went to press. Staff at the Philadelphia Medical Examiner confirmed to editors at TMZ.com that Bendik's body was found but would not reveal further details.
