Gigi Hadid slams blogger's drug accusations

Model Gigi Hadid has slammed editors at a gossip blog for suggesting she was caught snorting cocaine at a Victoria's Secret party in Miami, Florida over the weekend (14-15Mar15).

The 19-year-old beauty attended the Victoria's Secret's Pink Spring Break bash for work with her boyfriend, pop star Cody Simpson, and they were seen dancing together in the DJ booth at the party.

A 10-second clip of the pair was posted online and a blogger at OceanUp questioned Hadid's actions after one shot featured her leaning over a counter.

It is not clear what Hadid was actually doing, but the blogger tweeted, "Gigi Hadid Snorting Cocaine At Victoria's Secret In Cody Simpson Snapchat Story VIDEO?!"

Hadid took issue with the accusation and blasted the publication, insisting she would be an "idiot" to take drugs, let alone in public while attending a work event.

The angry model took to Twitter.com on Sunday (15Mar15) and wrote, "If u actually watch the video there is nothing on the counter .5 sec's before you see that image.. It's not only impossible but insane to me.

"Besides for doing the supposed in general, I'd be an idiot to do that at a WORK EVENT in front of hundreds of people/press. I'm insulted."

She then added, "I take pride in being a good role model, would never touch that (cocaine), & will not stand for or put up with a little piece of scum blog like OU."
